Men and women do not have equal access to professional opportunities and career advancement in scientific institutions.
But then, how do women build their careers, especially when they encounter the glass ceiling and gender stereotypes?
To address this question, we invite you to discuss with five female teacher-researchers and research support staff affiliated with various laboratories in Poitiers. They will share their career paths and professional experiences at the University of Poitiers and the CNRS.
This roundtable will explore the diversity of women’s career paths, the obstacles encountered during their careers, and the strategies implemented to overcome them.
