We offer a Master’s degree in Paleontology as well as PhD programs. Our programs include work placements for 3e and L3 students, providing a valuable hands-on experience.
It is also possible to undertake a self-initiated exploratory internship.
Master’s degree BEE Paléontologie
(Master Biodiversité Ecologie Environnement parcours Paléontologie)
It is structured over two years:
- first and second semesters in Poitiers;
- third semester in Montpellier;
- fourth semester (research internship) in one of the many associated laboratories, in France or abroad.
The program covers vertebrate evolution, paleoenvironments and climate, primatology, paleoecosystems, research tools in paleontology, etc.
The program includes fieldwork internships.
This Master’s program is a joint track within the Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution (BEE) degree programs of the Universities of Poitiers and Montpellier.
