Main Research
I study the evolutionary history of extinct large mammals, their impact on their fossil ecosystems, and the factors that shaped their paleobiology.
Study fieldworks
I apply this approach to the large semiaquatic herbivores, notably fossils hippopotamids, of which I study the diversity, the relationships, the ecology, and the distribution.
I also supervise researches at the ecosystem scale by focusing on the Neogene of Africa and groups such as suids and hominids.
Main field site
